Kyaggwe County Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd (KMCO) is a successor body of Ssaza Kyaggwe Agribusiness Initiative (SKAI) which was a livelihood improvement Program spearheaded by the former Ssekiboobo-Kyaggwe (Alex Kigongo - Deceased) in 2016.

The main outcome of SKAI was to partner with Uganda Industrial Research Institute(UIRI)

During periods 2016-2018, SKAI organized study tours to UIRI for 750 officers of Ssaza Kyaggwe.

SKAI also conducted out 19 enterprise selection workshops covering 5 regions and 14 sub-counties that make up Ssaza Kyaggwe
